WPI Global Perspective Program

Welcome to the WPI Global Perspective Program Guide. Here you can stay up to date with meetings, deadlines, and info sessions that will be coming up soon as part of the preparation for your off-campus project.

It is important to note that the Global Perspective Program application process is competitive.  Meeting deadlines, completing all components of the application, and attending info sessions and interviews on time is very important. Every student’s application is carefully reviewed and considered, however no student is guaranteed placement at any project center.

Project Centers offer projects in a wide range of topics – from environmental sustainability to historic preservation.  Think about the kind of project you’d like participate in, and then about the location. You can start by browsing projects on WPI’s Global Portal where you can review and apply for the Global Perspective Program (GPP). With more than 30 Project Centers worldwide, the GPP provides WPI students with the opportunity to complete any of their projects, IQP, MQP, or HUA Requirement, off campus.
