The SDR holds an important position at the top of the sales funnel. In order for the company to make sales, we need to be talking to the right people at the right companies. The SDR qualifies our inbound leads and determines what the next steps are to encourage them to buy. By identifying active buying interest, the SDR creates opportunities for account executives to close. The SDR will also coordinate with their Account Executive (AE) counterparts to determine the accounts that require research and prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities. An implicit responsibility of the SDR is to conduct business dealings in a way that creates a superior prospect experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up, as well as future product sales.

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving revenue for Guidebook. Our Marketing Department qualifies and assigns inbound leads to our AEs. AEs are then responsible for learning about our prospects' business goals, designing and delivering presentations highlighting the benefits of our solution, and ultimately closing sales. An implicit responsibility of the AE is to conduct business dealings in a way that leads to a successful implementation of our product(s), resulting in the acquisition of long-term clients who are happy with Guidebook.

Our Customer Success Associates ensure that our customers are happy and are receiving the most value that they can from our solutions. The majority of an associate's day is spent using Guidebook Gears, our content management system, to construct mobile guides with data given to us by our clients. Guidebook Gears is also a self-service tool used by thousands of our clients, and our Customer Success Associates are responsible for determining how to improve the system. Associates are usually given a few other responsibilities, depending on individual skill sets. Examples include assisting with email campaigns, conducting competitive research, and communicating insight from our end-users to the entire company.
