We want you to join us on December 3rd for a very exciting event! We’ll be kicking off our North American GuideTalk series in our hometown of San Francisco at Guidebook Headquarters. Join us at the our offices so that we can show you just how easy it is to build elegant, useful mobile apps for your events.

The Program

On the morning of December 3rd, join us for some coffee, breakfast, and networking with other event professionals looking to kick their events into high gear with mobile tech. Whether you’ve built event apps before, or just have a curiosity about taking your events mobile – come on out and let us treat you for a few hours.

cory-harrison_100x100You’ll first hear from Cory Harrison of the YMCA about how he, as a member of YMCA’s Program Expo 2015 On-site Communications Subcommittee, successfully introduced a Guidebook app at the 1110 person conference. His app garnered over 98% adoption, had huge levels of attendee engagement, and enjoyed a 98% approval rate. (Read more about it here.) Cory currently serves as Executive Director of YMCA Camp Benson. He is also a member of Rotary International and sits on the board of AYP Chapter 45, the Illinois State Alliance of YMCAs. Cory was able to develop a fool-proof app promotion strategy for his event that he’s agreed to share with you. It’s no surprise that he just took home the 2015 Leader of the Year Award from the Association of YMCA Professionals. We’re excited for him to relate his real-world Guidebook application and answer questions about how he made mobile so successful.

alice-egan_100x100With the second part of the morning, you’ll be led in a guidebuilding workshop by Guidebook Customer Success Associate Alice Egan in making your own fully-functional app. Alice will walk you through the process, answer questions, provide tips, and help you on your way to publishing a free guide for an upcoming event of your choice. It’s a rare chance to have a guidebuilding expert personally see you through the process of creating a mobile app!

Then feel free to hang with us afterwards. We’ll provide a light lunch before we send you off into the world with a newly-minted mobile app. This is your chance to make the leap (take the morning off work) and become your event’s mobile hero!
