About this guide
Welcome to SLU!
All first-year and new transfer students begin their SLU experience with Fall Welcome which begins five days before the start of classes and extends into September. Fall Welcome includes activities planned to help you get to know people and resources on campus.
Along with the social events planned during the weeks, students also have the opportunity to meet with faculty, gain a sense of Billiken spirit, participate in Convocation with SLU's president, and enjoy other great events.
Look out for the students in orange! Oriflamme is a group of sophomore, junior and senior students here to help students move-in and be available during the first several days on campus to answer questions and get everyone involved in all the exciting campus events.
