About this guide
WHO IS ATTENDING?
All three of Arizona's Continua of Care -- Maricopa County, Tucson/Pima, and Balance of State -- are represented in both attendance and those presenting. Just shy of half of our attendance is made up of direct-service providers, working to aid and assist Arizona's most vulnerable in their journeys towards housing stability.
Representatives from 10 municipalities and municipal agencies will be present, along with representation from three of Arizona's four Council of Governments, numerous county and state agencies and programs, and local law enforcement representing Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, and Peoria. We are also excited to have the Arizona Department of Education's Homeless School Liaisons back with us this year, traveling from schools and districts from all four corners of our great state.
Some of you are students, working towards degrees in a variety of human services. Some of you are formerly homeless, now working to end the homelessness of others. Some of you are decision-makers and thought leaders, driven by a passion for equality and social justice. Some of you are fairly new to this work, and some of you....not so much! Among this diverse group, one constant remains -- you each have a story and we want to hear it -- through your work, your advocacy, your fight to end homelessness in Arizona once and for all. As the story of the end to homelessness in Arizona continues to be written, on behalf of the board and staff of the Arizona Coalition to End Homelessness, we are so glad you've chosen to be a part of this important chapter in ending homelessness in Arizona.
Because every Arizonan deserves a safe place to call home.
