As a student I:
- served as a peer counsellor and executive member of the Sexual Education Centre
- served as Director at Large at the University of Toronto Students Union for 2 years
- served as Associate Vice-President Equity at the University of Toronto Students Union
- served as Chair of the Sexual Diversity Studies Student Union
- served as a voting member of the Hart House Art Committee
- served as Arts Editor at The Newspaper
- served as Editor of the Undergraduate Sexual Diversity Studies Journal

After graduation I began my career at a not-for-profit (PRIDE Toronto) and then returned to work briefly at the University of Toronto where I supported the advancement and alumni relations team at University College and worked on the first event for the David Rayside scholarship for the newly launched graduate program. Following my stint at my alma mater I spent 2.5 years interning at the Ontario Public Service. After my internship ended I briefly returned to the not-for-profit world at the United Way of Toronto. While there I made connections that took me into the private sector at Morneau-Shepell for a few months before I was invited back to the Ontario Public Service where I have been ever since. I've been fortunate to hold a range of roles of increasing seniority in a number of Ministries and to work closely with Minister's offices and Premier's office.
