Mitch Sharma

Mitch graduated from U of T in 2008 with a B.Comm. After spending a bit of time working with HSBC Securities, Mitch decided to follow his life long dream of working in sports business. He enrolled in George Brown's Sports & Event Marketing Post-Grad in 2010 and was able to secure an internship with his hometown Edmonton Oilers upon graduating. After four seasons with the Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Oil Kings organizations, Mitch developed a strong foundation of sports business experience in Corporate Sponsorships, Marketing, Fan Development and Community Relations. Looking to advance his career, Mitch took his talent to Southern Ontario and earned his MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western in 2016. Taking a quick break from sports, Mitch dove into the world of Consumer Packaged Goods, where his refined his marketing acumen managing multiple cereal brands, including Lucky Charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. But Mitch craved getting back into Sports and found a worthwhile opportunity with TD's Corporate Sponsorship team in the summer of 2017. Since then, Mitch has managed multiple sports properties from the Toronto Blue Jays to the recently acquired Vancouver Canucks.
