For 40 years, the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, along with the Free Trade Alliance of San Antonio, the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, has led local leaders to Washington, DC to advocate on federal issues that are pertinent to our community.
The 2018 delegation will be led by President and CEO of Brooks Leo Gomez, who will serve as the Chair of our trip. We invite you to join more than 100 other San Antonians January 29, 2018 through February 1, 2018 for the 40th annual SA to DC.
What began as a visit to the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol focused on thanking our leaders for the strong military presence in San Antonio, SA to DC has expanded to include many issues important to our community. In 2017, more than 120 business and community leaders met with national policy-makers and political leaders to discuss issues such as energy, transportation, education, trade, and more.
Because 2018 is San Antonio's 300th anniversary, we will have a unique opportunity to engage with political leaders and share the stories that have made our city an outstanding destination and an exciting place to live, with a strong, active, and thriving business community. Your involvement is key to the success of our advocacy efforts.
