Kim Guevara is the Founder and CEO of Mozaik Solutions. She has more than 20 years experience in emergency management, homeland security, and development. She has provided services to all levels of government, the U.S. military, and the private and non-profit sectors.She specializes in building and enhancing comprehensive emergency and crisis management programs and stakeholder engagement. Her award winning work includes several novel and pioneering projects, such as the DARPA Grand Challenge, the Cities Readiness Initiative (anthrax), and shadow operations. Ms. Guevara-Harris is also an adjunct instructor and curriculum developer for the California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI). Having responded to numerous crises and disasters, to include incidents of terrorism, she champions projects that emphasize mitigation, deterrence, preparedness, sustainability, and whole community inclusion. She also has significant international experience in telemedicine and humanitarian development and has led and supported initiatives and efforts in Southwest Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, to include projects in Afghanistan, Mexico, Honduras, Antigua and Barbuda, and Kenya. Ms. Guevara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Oregon, and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations with a focus in national and international security from the University of San Diego. She has a post-graduate certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University.
