Patrick Meyers

Patrick Meyers began his career in emergency services at the age of eighteen. Since then, he has served numerous communities in both the fire service and emergency medical services throughout the state of New York. Patrick received his Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services Administration from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. Currently, he is enrolled in a dual Master of Arts degree program at American Military University. Upon completion, he will be awarded with a M.A. in Homeland Security and an M.A. in Emergency and Disaster Management. As an employee of Greater New York Hospital Association, Patrick has the pleasure of cultivating innovation through numerous different collaborative workgroups to enhance preparedness in the healthcare sector. Patrick has led the charge in addressing a range of issues including communications, coordinating law enforcement responses to healthcare facilities, Mass Casualty Incident planning and more. Patricks most recent project is delivering a comprehensive emergency management software (at no cost to the hospital) to more than 120 different hospitals and healthcare systems throughout the State of New York.
