Noras work experience spans several disciplines such as a researcher, archaeologist and a ground operations manager for a major airline. Her twelve years of experience in Emergency Management include a variety of planning, technology, outreach, grant management, EOC development and operations, training and exercise assignments. Nora Yotsov holds a BA in Anthropology and an MS in Crisis and Emergency Management. Nora is also a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), a member of the IAEM-USA Climate, Water and Weather Caucus and a Medicolegal Death Investigator in the State of Oregon. She also serves on a Portland, OR Regional Logistics Support Team and a Regional Mass Fatality Response team. Noras main area of interest lies in climate change driven human migration and displacement and how this impacts Emergency Management today and in the future.
