Joseph Corona, CEM, MPA

Joseph Corona is a contractor for the Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS) out of the University of Maryland and supports planning efforts and community outreach for the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. His work with Montgomery County focuses on developing a Crisis Communication Plan, building the framework for a Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD), along with other planning efforts. He has an MPA with a concentration in Emergency and Disaster Management and holds a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) designation. Prior to his work with Montgomery County, Joseph spent two years working for FEMA in the first implementation of the National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF) for a catastrophic event (Hurricane Sandy).
