Mr. James Rogers is a dedicated emergency management professional with more than 30 years of valued strategic and operational leadership in planning for and responding to Level I-Level III disasters and emergencies. Currently serving as an Emergency Management Specialist with the FEMA CBRN Office, Mr. Rogers has proven abilities in analyzing potential planning and resource liabilities and recommending effective solutions. He is the FEMA Program Manager for the Radiological Operations Support Specialist (ROSS) and serves as the chair of the Steering Committee. Mr. Rogers vast experience also includes working as the Assistant Director of Emergency Management for the largest metropolitan statistical area in Nebraska and working at the federal level as a liaison to state and local officials planning for and responding to various emergencies and disasters. As a highly capable manager, skilled in building and training teams, managing programs, and improving organizational response capabilities, Mr. Rogers has successfully worked with multiple jurisdictions to develop emergency management response plans and preparedness efforts.
