Mr. Sevier is currently an instructor for the TEEX Cyber Security program. He has over 15 years' experience in emergency response and emergency management. Michael served as administrator for the Texas Homeland Security Training Portal (PreparingTexas.org) for 5 years. During that time, he also served as an observer/controller with the TEEX Enhanced Incident Management/Unified command class. Working with the TEEX Enhanced Incident Management/Unified command class, Michael participated in numerous exercises as he managed the exercise control cell. Michael has also participated in several hurricane evacuation exercises with the State of Texas including a full-scale response deployment exercise. He worked as a Homeland Security Planner for the Brazos Valley Council of Governments and as an emergency responder as an in-charge Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate for Texas A&M University EMS and Cy-Fair Fire Department and as a volunteer fire fighter for Brazos County.
