CONFERENCE DETAILS
We are proud to host the 25th Annual Statewide Conference on Affordable Housing & Homelessness -- Arizona's ONLY statewide conference, bringing together homeless services and affordable housing professionals together from all corners of our great state. This year's featured keynote speakers are Mr. Richard Rothstein and Dr. Matthew Whitaker.

Mr. Rothstein is, author of the NYT Bestseller, The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America. Ahead of our keynote address from Mr. Rothstein, we invite you to join us for an online The Color of Law Book Club. Online discussion begins Monday, October 8th, with a book club wrap-up and Author Meet & Greet at the conference on Tuesday, November 13th!

Dr. Matthew Whitaker will share how we can define, contextualize, and help operationalize diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workspace and for the people we serve.

CONFERENCE THEME: "Revealing the Redlines of Our Past: Redrawing the Neighborhoods of Our Future"

REVEALING OUR PAST: HOUSING INJUSTICE
Back again this year, we've been proud to add the popular and well-attended Social Justice track to our conference the last two years, specifically working to address housing injustices and discriminatory practices affecting minorities and people of color in their efforts to gain and maintain housing stability, and overall general health.

REDRAWING OUR FUTURE: HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
In line with our intent to continue the dialogue around 'Redrawing the Neighborhoods of Our Future,' we've added an Arizona Healthy Communities Track, focused on ensuring all communities in Arizona are healthy places to live. Housing is the end to homelessness, and studies have shown that access to safe and affordable housing leads to better physical and mental health, improves the wellbeing of individuals and families, and results in healthier, stronger communities overall.

SESSIONS: Dynamic, engaging, impactful topics that are practical for all levels of the homeless and housing services sectors, from direct-service to management.

AWARDS LUNCHEON: Each year, we look forward to honoring some of our state's most hardest working at the AZ Housing Coalition's Awards of Excellence during lunch on DAY ONE.

SPONSORS & EXHIBITORS: We couldn't do what we do without the generous support of our sponsors, many who were on-site with lots of goodies, giveaways, and info!
