There are many open source and creative commons tools, guides and curriculums that are available for people to help people learn about and train about information security. For example, Umbrella App, Security in a Box, Level-Up.CC and Surveillance Self Defence – to name just a few.
But these are community projects and rely on volunteers to keep them up to date.
This session will:
-Give an overview of what tools, guide and curriculums are available and their current status, strengths/weaknesses, use cases, and needs
-Conduct an information security resource share
-Share experiences on how information security is taught and how these resources can be used
-Conduct user testing to gather feedback on content, design and usability of these resources
This is a Learning Forum session.
