The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) was successfully launched in April 2018 and is currently in the first year of a two-year prime mission to perform a near all-sky survey to search for planets transiting nearby stars. This session will provide a mission update and will highlight early science results from the TESS team and the astronomical community.
