The AAS is committed to enhancing and sharing humanity's scientific understanding of the universe. Our flagship journals, The Astronomical Journal, The Astrophysical Journal, The Astrophysical Journal Letters, and The Astrophysical Journal Supplements are the most read and most cited journals in the field.
In 2017 we launched Research Notes of the AAS, moderated by Dr. Chris Lintott. It is designed for short notices of interest to the community, is published fast, indexed, and preserved for posterity along with all AAS publications. Please stop by exhibit booth #119 to meet with editors and staff and hear more about other AAS initiatives, including WorldWide Telescope!
