Actively Moving Forward, (AMF), a HealGrief program connects, supports and empowers grieving college students. Actively Moving Forward is the ONLY national network addressing the needs of these silent voices.
Research confirms that 1 in 3 young adults are grieving a loved one's death. These young adults find themselves isolated and unable to achieve their academic potential which often leads to a change in the trajectory of their life's path. Through AMF, our students understand that grief is not depression; a healthy grief recovery does exist; and suicide is never an option.
AMF addresses this silent epidemic by connecting, supporting and empowering these young adults to actively move forward in memory of their loved one. They do so with community service and with the support of their peers.
