Mr. Andrew Stowers is a Training Specialist and a Certified Training Professional for the Texas AM Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) Incident Management, Sport and Special Events suite of training courses. Mr. Stowers has been employed by TEEX since 2015. Mr. Stowers received both a bachelors and masters degree in Business Administration from Lindenwood University in St Louis, Missouri. He received his CEM in 2015 and completed his MEP training the year prior. During his 27 years as a Police Officer, the last 10 years of his career he was the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of OFallon in Missouri. He also spent 10 years as a volunteer with the ARC, serving as training instructor and response volunteer. Mr. Stowers is currently part of two Incident Support Teams. He has been deployed over 50 times to different types of disasters throughout the United States. He has extensive training and practical experience in planning for disasters and special events. His most recent activity includes two deployments to the border as an incident management specialist, deployment as typhoon debris removal specialist and hurricane response as deputy logistics chief.
