Christina Crue

Christina Crue focuses on enhancing the capabilities of business and governments to prepare for, respond to, mitigate against, and recover from all types of hazards. Prior to Tidal Basin, Christina led preparedness programs at Witt O’Brien’s. She served as Exercise Director for the University of Maryland Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS), managing training programs for a variety of states and the US State Department, she provided crisis management training to senior managers in more than 14 countries. Ms. Crue served as Branch Manager for the Exercise and Training Branch of the Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). She led efforts to update all Job Action Sheets at the State EOC and provided training and exercises to all staff. Ms. Crue came to MEMA from Battelle, where she worked closely with local, state and federal partners on exercising and training activities for three years. Ms. Crue holds a Bachelors degree in Education from Hood College and a Master of Science degree in Emergency Health Services, Emergency Management from UMBC. Ms. Crue is also a Certified Emergency Manager through the IAEM.
