Ms. Hobbs has extensive professional experience in both emergency management and continuity of operations programs with local, state, and Federal government organizations including NASA and the DoD. She led the Training and Exercise Program at NASA HQ before transitioning to her role within DoD, and has experience organizing and leading participation in many FEMA National Level Exercises (NLE) at all levels of government. Ms. Hobbs’ technical expertise includes: Program Management, Emergency Management, Continuity of Operations Planning, Mission Assurance, and long term strategic planning to name a few. Throughout her career Ms. Hobbs has always had a passion for supporting others while they continually grow, develop, and explore their own areas of passion and interest. She has continued to identify ways of helping others map out their individual plans for professional development, including her active involvement as a CEM Commissioner. She looks forward to supporting the Career Workshop each year, and receiving feedback on our ever-evolving career field.
