With an EMT background and 13 years of experience with The Walt Disney Company, Patrick combined his emergency response and guest service background to become one of the founding members of Disney’s Global Family Assistance Program. As Sr. Mgr, Family Assistance & Crisis Team Training, Patrick is responsible for Mass Casualty Planning, Family Assistance Operations, Compassionate Care Training and Life-Safety Training across the Enterprise. From college intern to today, Patrick has held various frontline and leadership positions at the Walt Disney World Resort ® , Disney Cruise Line, and now with the Corporate Team. During his time as Medical Operations Mgr with Disney Cruise Line, Patrick was responsible for daily operations of the shipboard medical facilities including emergency evacuation and logistic operations during an emergency, as well as family assistance. During that time, Patrick helped pilot the training program that is now taught across the Globe. With a passion for providing the “Disney-level” of guest service during emergency situations, it has become a career long goal of taking this once grassroots initiative into an enterprise-wide program.
