This session will review the growth of Online Program Management (OPM's) in higher education and how Universities are making decisions of whether or not to partner with OPM's and if Universities are finding success in these partnerships. The presenter will review results from a survey and results from interviews with institutions that partner with OPM's, have ended partnerships with OPM's and also interviews from OPM representatives to provide an overview from various prospectives. This session will provide attendees with an overview of factors to consider when choosing whether or not to work with a 3rd party provider. Understanding these factors will assist attendees with developing an a tool for assessing of relationships with OPMs . This knowledge and information will assist participants in working with these types of relationships at their own campus in knowing what to ask for and what options may be available. Also, this presentation will give participants who are thinking of working with a 3rd party provider or thinking of moving away from their work with a current 3rd party provider with tips on what factors to consider with their senior leaders in the decision making process.
