I began working in distanced education in 2002. First, I adapted classroom training and development to a blended curriculum: web-pre-conferences followed by classroom case studies. I also pioneered the use of web-based expert tax technical sessions for senior tax partners in a national CPA firm. I partnered with DePaul University to bring an all online MS in Taxation to my the CPA firm at which I was the national education director. I joined the faculty at DePaul and mentored adjunct faculty teaching in our online program. Later, I mentored our adjunct faculty into moving to a synchronous from synchronous.
