Well known for their musical contributions to many anime shows, angela made their major debut in 2003 with opening and closing themes for the sci-fi anime “Stellvia.” Perpetually charting on the Japanese Oricon, angela’s music can be heard in anime titles such as “Fafner in the Azure,” “Heroic Age,” “Corpse Princess,” “Asura Cryin,’” “K,” “Valvrave the Liberator,” “Coppelion,” among others. Their most recent full album, “ZERO,” was released in April of 2013, celebrating their 10th anniversary. It was also announced recently that angela would be performing the theme song for the upcoming anime, “Knights of Sidonia.”

angela is made up of the duo of atsuko and KATSU. Their predominantly upbeat songs are a blend of just about every musical genre, with a strong base in electronica, dance, and jazz. angela will be bringing their full support band to perform at Anime Central.

angela has previously played internationally at Anime Festival Asia in Singapore (4 years running), Japan Expo in Paris, and in North America multiple times at various conventions.
