Anime Expo® is committed to ensuring that attendees with disabilities have access to all convention programs, facilities, and activities. Policies and procedures have been developed so that all our attendees may feel comfortable and safe during their four days at Anime Expo.

Registration

Attendees with disabilities may bypass the badge registration lines.   Upon arrival at the convention center, attendees with disabilities should visit the information booth in South Hall (the booth closest to the registration area) so that the information booth staff may escort them to the registration area, no waiting in line required.  After the attendee has completed his or her registration and picked up his or her badge, the attendee should return to the info booth in order to receive a priority access sticker.

Priority Access Sticker

Priority access stickers should be pasted to a visible area on the attendee’s Anime Expo badge so the sticker does not obstruct view of any vital badge information.  Each disabled attendee and up to two of his/her companions will receive the priority access sticker, which entitles all recipients to the following accommodations:

  • Front-of-line access to panels and film screenings.
  • Priority entrance to the exhibit hall prior to opening.
  • Special accommodations on Anime Expo®  official shuttles (must make a phone call to shuttle services at least 1 hour prior to shuttle pick-up.
  • NOTE: Attendees with disabilities must make arrangements with the ticketing booth to purchase tickets to MAIN EVENTS with special access seating.  Though a priority access sticker may allow attendees with disabilities to bypass the line into the main events hall, the attendees will need to purchase a ticket to that Main Event from the ticketing booth.  Please consult the Ticketing Booth and Ticketing Policy webpage on anime-expo.org for more details.

Assistance Animals

Guide dogs and other assistance animals are permitted in the convention per ADA regulations.
