Esther Friesner

Esther Friesner is a prolific author of fantasy, sf and horror with almost forty novels and two hundred short stories published to date.  In addition, she is the creator and editor of the popular Chicks in Chainmail anthologies and the Young Adult historical series, Princesses of Myth, which began with Nobody's Princess.  She received a B.A. in both Spanish and Drama from Vassar College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish form Yale University.  She won the Nebula Award twice, the Skylark Award, the Romantic Times Award, and was a Hugo finalist.  A born New Yorker, she calls Connecticut home as it's a good place to keep her husband, kids, grandchild, and occasionally useful but highly decorative cat.
