Eugene Ossa retired from the Library of Congress as Chief of the Digital and Web Initiatives Section after 28 years of government service. He received his first degree in history, principally medieval and ancient history. He obtained subsequent degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems. He has a lifelong interest in fantasy/horror/occult literature, particularly Victorian and Edwardian. He has made presentations on the history of Tarot Cards and the World War I phenomenon known as “The Angels of Mons.” He is currently concentrating his studies on World War I history, with a particular emphasis on contemporary myths, legends, and popular beliefs.
