Robin Riopelle writes horror and dark fantasy, gravitating to stories about family secrets and difficult histories. Her first novel, Deadroads, (Night Shade Books) follows a son’s murder investigation of his Cajun faith healer father. Her work has appeared in Postscripts to Darkness and online at Popmatters. When she’s not spinning ghost stories, Riopelle writes non-fiction for history and science museums in Canada and the US. She is also a children’s illustrator and small press operator. She currently lives in Ottawa, Canada.
