Kim Nielsen has 20 years of software engineering experience, 15 of those building scalable, high-availability enterprise solutions with leading JEE application servers, portals and SOA middleware.
Kim currently serves as System Architect in the Nets Integration Services (NIS) team at Nets, a major nordic provider of payments, card and information services, where he is participating in various projects, as well as defining and implementing best practices across the team.
Nets NIS is established as a "Service factory" undertaking integration tasks across the Nets organisation, utilizing the Oracle Fusion 12c stack (OSB, SOA suite, MFT).
Prior to Nets, Kim has worked at several companies in the capacity of consultant, participating in all phases of the project lifecycle and acting in various roles such as Technical project manager, Architect, Designer, Developer and Mentor on all tiers of the technical landscape.
Kim has provided consultancy services on a freelance basis for BEA Systems Professional Services at various project across Europe, and has lived and worked for 4 years in Switzerland, and 2 years in London.
Kim also has extensive experience with various agile methodologies and processes both as participant and Coach/Mentor in projects, and is Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Practitioner.
