BALLE seeks scholarship applicants who will contribute to the diversity of the Localism movement and who might not otherwise be able to attend the BALLE Conference.
BALLE is an equal opportunity organization, and yet we recognize that economic opportunity is not currently equal. To this end, we set up this scholarship fund specifically to support entrepreneurs and local economy leaders from communities currently underrepresented in the Localism movement, including but not limited to communities of color, low income communities, the LGBTQ community and their allies, and women-led organizations. We welcome applicants from our primary services areas of the United States and Canada as well as attendees in other countries.
Prosperity for All Scholarships cover all or part of the main conference registration fee – both full and half scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships do not cover travel or lodging costs.
