Pinchot University is built upon more than a decade of hard work, determination and belief in changing the world through business.
We started small when the first cohort attended the Bainbridge Graduate Institute in 2002. Founded by the Pinchot Family following the September 11, 2001, attacks, the school taught a generation of change agents and business leaders to have a more sustainable future for the world. Gifford Pinchot III was scheduled to be in a meeting to brainstorm ideas for clean energy solution in New York’s World Trade Center the following day.
Over the years, BGI’s attendance grew, offering two MBAs and a Certificate program. Then in 2014, the school rebranded as Pinchot University to strengthen its mission and purpose.
