Region V’s Annual Regional Meeting will be held in downtown Houston, Texas at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. The hotel is a AAA four diamond hotel with a 30 story atrium and a free shuttle service within a one mile radius of the hotel which is connected to high-end shops, restaurants and services via the city’s famous seven-mile tunnel. It is within walking distance of the George R. Brown Convention Center, the Toyota Center and Minute Maid Park. The Houston Light Rail has stops just seconds from the hotel and can take you to the Museum District, the Children’s Museum, the Houston Zoo or Reliant Park. The hotel also features the Spindletop Restaurant with 360 degree views and renowned cuisine.

We encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities available during the meeting to network and share your ideas with NCURA members and the Executive Committee. The Social Activities and lunches provide a wonderful opportunity for you to interact with colleagues and expand your professional network.
We welcome you to Region V and encourage you to attend the New Member Wine and Cheese Reception, participate in the concurrent sessions denoted for new members on the full program schedule and the Social Activities. Please make sure to attend the Breakfast on Wednesday morning to receive your Region V New Member gift.
We are fortunate to have special guests with us during our meeting. On Monday at lunch we will hear from Michelle Vazin, the NCURA President, who will provide an update on current initiatives at the national level at NCURA. Stephanie Moore of NCURA’s National staff will also provide a brief presentation about Collaborate.
Region V Business Meeting
The Region V business meeting will take place Tuesday during lunch and will include committee updates for all the region’s standing and special committees. This is a good way to find out what initiatives are taking place in the region. Please bring your business card to enter into a drawing for prizes to be awarded during lunch.
Your feedback is critical to the success of our meeting. Please take a moment to complete the surveys that are handed out during each session so that we can continue to improve the Annual Regional Meeting experience. Evaluations should be completed after the session and turned in to the session moderator prior to leaving the session. You may also turn in evaluations at the Registration Desk if you need additional time to complete.
