Living on campus provides a unique experience for students to live in the heart of all the action, while making friends with fellow Auburn students. All halls are managed by knowledgeable staff dedicated to making the living experience enjoyable and rewarding. Living on campus does come with rules. Before your student moves in, check out the Guide to Residential Living
to make sure that you know what your student can and cannot have in their residence hall, safety regulations, room dimensions, roommate discussions, and much more.
Learning to live with others can be challenging but it is a skill that will last a lifetime. Encourage your student to talk with their roommate(s) about developing a cleaning schedule; preferred hours for quiet, study, sleep and guests; respecting each other's property and how to keep their living space secure. Students living on campus should talk with their Resident Assistant if they need help learning to resolve roommate conflicts.
