Welcome to the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC 2015)!

Themed Smart City & Smart World, ICC 2015
will host more than 2,500 industry professionals, scientists, academics and government officials attending presentations highlighting the entire range of global voice, data, image and multimedia technologies.


IEEE ICC 2015 will feature 1,600+ original paper presentations, 20 tutorials, 27 workshops, 7 keynotes, 1 executive forum, 17 industry panels and social events
designed to further career opportunities and the in-depth understanding of the latest communications advancements worldwide.

CONFERENCE LOCATION
The ExCel London Convention Center is located on the northern side of the Royal Victoria Dock in London Docklands, close to Canary Wharf and the London City Airport.  IEEE ICC 2015 will take place on the West Side of the ExCel London Convention Centre.

 

The ExCel London Convention Center will host the conference registration, keynotes, exhibition, technical and interactive sessions, industry panels, workshops and tutorials, Welcome Reception, Awards Ceremony and all committee meetings.  The conference banquet will be held at the Tower of London (Moat).  Tickets are required for the Awards Ceremony and Banquet.

 

OYSTER CARDS

London utilizes an Oyster Card.  The Oyster Cards are electronic smartcards that are available for purchase for travel on the Tube, DLR, London Overground and most National Rail services in London. 

 

REGISTRATION

Registration for the conference will take place in the foyer area of the Boulevard/Level 0 of the London ExCel/ICC.

There will be a table near registration with various ribbons.  Please stop by to see if there are any that pertain to you.

All attendees and accompanying guests must register and receive a conference badge in order to participate in conference activities. 
Photo ID is required.  Individuals are responsible for picking up their own registration packages.
No attendee will be allowed to pick up registration packages for their colleagues.

Session Drawings

NEW at IEEE ICC 2015

You will have the opportunity to win a mini iPAD and high profile books from exhibiting publishers for attending sessions!  You will receive a raffle ticket for each session (IF&E technical, Keynote, etc.) you attend.  Tickets will be given at the end to those attending the entire session.  The more sessions you attend the better chance you have of winning as well as learning more!  Tickets will be drawn each day at the following times in the Exhibition Hall. You must be present to win!

Please be advised this is separate from the prize drawings held during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks in the Exhibition Hall. 

 

There are other activities taking place in the Exhibition Hall are Interactive Sessions, Podium Presentations and Demos.  Check the app for complete listings of these activities.  Vendors will also provide a cash and carry service during the lunch breaks on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

 

WIRELESS ACCESS
IEEE ICC 2015 will offer free wireless access.  The conference venue will be equipped with wireless access points. 
The password will be e-mailed to you prior to the start of the conference.

SPEAKER READY ROOM
London Suite 5, Level 0 has been designated as the Speaker Ready Room.
The room is available Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 17:00 for presenters to rehearse and prepare for their presentations.


STUDENT TRAVEL GRANTS
Student Travel Grant Recipients can pick up their certificates at the Registration Desk during registration hours.

 

Tutorial and Workshop Materials

Tutorial materials will be e-mailed to participants within 24 hours prior to the sessions and available for download. 
Workshop materials will be provided upon entry into the workshop.

 

Local Information

Local brochures will be available in the registration area.  Additionally, maps and brochures are available at the concierge desk in the ExCel London on the Lower Boulevard Level.
