Fiona Murray has over 25years experience as a podiatrist, first in the UK where she ran the Diabetic Foot Service for Northumbria NHS Foundation Trust. Within this role she developed specialist services for the treatment of Charcot Neuroarthropathy and the management of complex wounds, as well as developing a foot screening strategy for primary care. She has published and presented internationally on diabetic foot disease. Fiona moved to Australia in 2012, to become the Advanced Clinical Lead Podiatrist for Country Health South Australia. Since 2012 she has focused on consolidating and leading the Podiatry services in Country South Australia. The focus has been on developing consistent evidence based practice, to provide equity of access and service provision across the wide geographical area that makes up Country health South Australia. Fiona also holds an Adjunct lectureship at the School of Health Sciences at the University of South Australia.
