Biography: Lynda Cardiff Lynda Cardiff is a pharmacist with in excess of fifteen year's experience in many areas of clinical practice including the acute medical, paediatric and intensive care specialties. She has established and managed drug use evaluation programs in the hospital setting, developed practice-based prescribing guidelines for junior medical staff, and has worked both nationally and internationally to develop competency based professional development programs for pharmacists. Lynda worked with a team to implement skills based training for pharmacists working in Queensland Health sites in response to the needs identified during the established peer review process. In addition, she co-developed the national competency based peer review assessment tool for Australian pharmacists. Lynda's interests include inter-professional education, the development of professional competence and the promotion of effective cross-discipline communication and practice understanding. Lynda's current role involves the management of multidisciplinary research at Queensland University of Technology.
