Now that more than 15,000 gravitational microlensing events have been discovered, we can use the spatial pattern of events to discover globular clusters and to identify other overdensities (and underdensities) in mass distributions. We review the results so far and consider how these studies will be extended beyond the Milky Way during the era of wide-field surveys.
