Professor Paul Morris

Paul Morris is Professor of Religious Studies at Victoria University of Wellington where he holds the UNESCO Chair in Interreligious Understanding and Relations in New Zealand and the Pacific. He has published works on neoliberalism, religious diversity, politics and religion, religion and development, religion in New Zealand and the Pacific, and modern Jewish thought, and, is currently working on two monographs, one explicating post-Holocaust Jewish thought, Radical Jewish Theologies, and the other exploring Cosmopiety, looking at the global rise of cosmopolitan pieties and religiosities. He is the author of the Statement on Religious Diversity in Aotearoa/New Zealand (HRC, UNESCO 2007, 2009).
