Jeff Cardell currently serves as the Director Personnel Services for the City of Fresno. Under his direction, Personnel Services staff provides service to more than 3,500 employees. He has 30 years of human resources experience and has worked with a number of public agencies in the Central Valley. Mr. Cardell has also served as the President, and 1st and 2nd Vice President of the Central San Joaquin Valley Risk Management Authority. He has served as the Past President, President, Vice-President and Treasurer of the Local Agency Workers’ Compensation Excess Joint Powers Authority. He served a one-year term as an Alternate Board Member for the CSAC-EIA and has been the Treasurer of the Central Valley Chapter of the Public Agency Risk Managers Association. Jeff earned a degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno and a Masters of Public Administration from National University.
