Meredith Packer Garey represents both public and private sector clients in employment related lawsuits before state and federal courts at both the trial court and appellate levels. She also represents employers with such matters as administrative agency and board appeals, arbitrations, and provides general advice and counsel. Meredith advises clients in a variety of employment matters, including personnel policies and employee handbooks, wage and hour issues, unemployment insurance, health and retirement benefits, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, and worker’s compensation. Additionally, she is well versed in electronic workplace issues, including the drafting and implementation of social media, computer use, employee privacy and telecommunication employee policies. Meredith presents on these topics to a variety of trade associations, as well as provides trainings for employers on these areas.
