Kimberly Greer has been in the field of safety and risk management for over 29 years. Before being hired as the Risk Manager for the City of Richmond, Kim served as the Risk Manager for the City of Fairfield, Solano County, and the Risk Administrator for the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District. Prior to her public sector service, Kim worked her way up the private insurance ladder from Loss Control Trainee to Loss Control Manager in just eight short years.
Attending California State University, Fresno, Kim earned a BS degree in Health Science, with an option in Occupational Safety and Health. She has also earned the designations of Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate in Risk Management for Public Entities (ARM-P), and Associate in Claims (AIC). She is an active participant in insurance JPA’s, sitting on the Executive Committees for both CSAC-EIA and CJPRMA. Kim’s real delight, though, is her new granddaughter.
