Linda Simon currently serves as a Deputy Director of Human Resources for the City and County of San Francisco. She is responsible for administration of the City's Equal Employment Opportunity and Leave Programs. Linda has a wealth of experience conducting workplace investigations, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace violence, misuse of City resources, and personnel policy violations, as well as training managers on harassment prevention, disability policy and the intersection between federal, state and local leave laws.
Prior to joining the City and County of San Francisco, she conducted investigations for United States Investigation Services and held various leadership positions in the Internal Revenue Service, including Western Region Director of Employee and Labor Relations, Western Region Director of Executive Development and Employee Training, and also worked for the Treasury Department as Assistant Manager, EEO Complaints Center.
Linda received her Masters of Public Administration, Intergovernmental Affairs from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas State University.
