Daphne Anneet is a partner of Burke, Williams & Sorensen and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the firm's Labor and Employment Practice Group. A skilled litigator, Ms. Anneet achieves excellent results for public employers in a wide range of employment matters including, disciplinary appeal hearings, class actions, pension and retiree medical claims, contingent worker misclassification claims, wage and hour claims, and discrimination claims. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Anneet represents employers in contract negotiations, impasse procedures, grievance and arbitration proceedings, unfair labor practice charges, and factfinding proceedings. She has also conducted negotiations relating to the contracting out of services, including refuse and fire services.
Ms. Anneet conducts independent internal investigations of complaints involving alleged workplace misconduct and conflicts of interest. Committed to helping public agencies prepare for labor and employment challenges, Ms. Anneet enjoys training and has written and lectured on a wide array of employment issues for many organizations at their annual training conferences and conventions.
