Wilson, Spencer

Spencer Wilson is a Senior Associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group, where he draws from broad experience in complex civil public interest matters to counsel and litigate on behalf of clients. Spencer has worked at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts on a broad array of issues, including employment and labor law, civil rights, and arbitration law. His experience includes leaves of absence (including the interplay among the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, pregnancy disability leave, absences due to workplace injuries, mandatory sick leave, and other types of time off provided under the Labor Code, employer policies, and collective bargaining agreements), administering effective discipline that will withstand arbitration, conducting confidential workplace investigations involving highly sensitive matters, litigating wrongful termination lawsuits involving discrimination and retaliation, drafting personnel policies and employee contracts, and advising on disability issues (accommodation, medical privacy, discrimination claims).
