PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND COLLEGE CREDIT

Information and forms for professional development credit from CSU Long Beach and/or a certificate of attendance are available at registration.

Upper division university credit from CSU Long Beach or a certificate of completion from CSTA are available to conference attendees participating in educational events.

University Credit from CSU Long Beach
Participants may apply for one unit of credit for Professional Development for any 12 hours of conference workshops, short courses, or focus speaker events. There is an additional tuition fee
of $99 and written assignment requirement for the unit of credit. Assignment information will be available on the web at www.scienceteaching.org. Participants must submit their signed professional development passport (available at registration), course registration, fees, and their written assignment by December 1, 2016. Assignment and registration details will be available online at www.scienceteaching.org. The course will appear on your transcript as SCED490: Special Topics in Science Education.

Certificate of Attendance from CSTA
CSTA will provide a certificate of attendance listing the complete contact hours to any registrant completing and submitting the necessary paperwork. Please use the tracking and verification document on the next page to track your participation. The deadline for submitting a request for a certificate of attendance from CSTA is December 1, 2016.
