Thom May

Thom May is a writer and deviser whose plays include war war brand war (winner of the RSC Other Prize 2014), Bethnal, Career Limiting Move, Calder Hall, and Delicate. In 2011 he collaborated on Our Days of Rage, a new play for the National Youth Theatre, which was performed in London's Old Vic Tunnels and received coverage from the BBC. He co-devised and performed in the first stage adaptation of Sylvain Chomet's Belleville Rendezvous (winner of the NSDF Emerging Artist Award 2011), which toured to Edinburgh, London, Bristol, and the Swan Theatre at the RSC; his writing has since been produced in Cambridge, Edinburgh, London and Coventry. He is a Royal Court Studio writer and graduate of the Royal Court Young Writer's Program, and a current playwriting fellow at the Michener Center for Writers in Austin, Texas.
