Kyle Newman is an American-born filmmaker whose directorial work encompasses a number of feature films including, Fanboys, the Star Wars-themed comedy starring Kristen Bell and Seth Rogen, produced by Kevin Spacey and distributed by The Weinstein Company, as well as the action-comedy Barely Lethal starring Oscar Nominees Hailee Steinfeld and Samuel L. Jackson alongside Jessica Alba for prestigious A24 Films.
He has directed music videos for some of the industry's top artists including Taylor Swift ("Style", "Clean"), Lana Del Rey ("Summertime Sadness") and created the video content for Taylor Swift's recent 1989 World Tour featuring Cara Delevingne, Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez and more. Newman recently produced the critically acclaimed documentary Raiders: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made, about three teenagers who set out to recreate Steven Spielberg's classic Raiders of the Lost Ark shot-for-shot in 1982, distributed by Drafthouse Films.

On the horizon are numerous projects including the television series Funds for Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment and the now in-production animated feature Gnome Alone for Shrek producer John H. Williams.

Newman, an honors graduate of NYU's School of Film/TV, has written and/or directed for clients including The Microsoft Corp., Interscope Records, Starz Entertainment, Wizards of the Coast, The Coca-Cola Company, Starwars.com, Entertainment Weekly, Big Machine Records, Endemol Shine, Pacific Life Insurance, Lucasfilm, Ltd., Games For Windows, Ten Speed Press (Penguin Random House), Titan Publishing, The Saturday Group and Universal Republic Music.
