Lillie has 20 years' experience as a full-time practicing family physician.
She is currently a member of the Mayo Clinic Department of Family Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, and maintains a clinical focus on treating patients of all ages and enjoys doing gynecologic and dermatologic procedures.
As an AAFP board member, Lillie advocates on behalf of family physicians and patients nationwide to inspire positive change in the U.S. health care system. Lillie has been involved in the AAFP at the national and state level since 1992. At the time of her election to the board of directors in 2014, she was serving as a senior delegate to AAFP and was on the AAFP Commission of Quality and Practice. She is also a past president of the MAFP.
